The Alexander Technique is a practical method of improving the way we use our bodies, so that we can reduce stress and tension. It also helps to improve our balance and co-ordination in everyday activities such as standing, walking, sitting and bending.
Ian O’Donnell, MSTAT, is a qualified Alexander Technique teacher based near Banstead, Surrey. Ian undertook a three year Alexander Technique training course at the Brighton Centre of Alexander Technique and practises privately. He has worked with drama and dance students at Arts Ed in Chiswick, London and runs a private practice, as well as offering advice on office/workstation ergonomics and manual handling techniques.
